Trained in Brazil, England, the United States, and Italy.

With broad multidisciplinary and cross-sector experience, and a focus on energy-related sectors, Roberto advises clients on contracts and organizational matters for companies of all sizes, working with managers and professionals at every level.

Beyond transactional work, Roberto has led and manages investigations and has advised on governance and integrity. From 2018 to 2022, he also served as a professor in graduate and university extension programs, teaching Brazilian and comparative anti-corruption law.

He is the author of numerous newspaper articles and books on governance, compliance, and integrity. More recently, he has been focusing on technology-related topics.

  • Advising one of the leading international FPSO operators on the preparation of bids for potential offshore operations in Brazil, covering contractual, regulatory, and commercial aspects.
  • Advising an international consortium developing a green hydrogen project involving Brazil and Germany, including bid preparation, contract negotiation, and governance structuring.

  • Advising a business group active in industrial waste management and energy solutions on potential mergers, acquisitions, and strategic business combinations.
